Info

At 445 Lafayette Street, a 4,000-square-foot residence designed by Axis Mundi unfolds with the assurance of a well-edited exhibition. Set within The Astor Place-one of the city's most distinctive towers, defined by its curved glass façade and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows-the home occupies a building celebrated for its service, amenities, and architectural presence. Newly constructed in 2004 and designed by Gwathmey Siegel Architects, the21-story tower provides a striking modernist envelope for the interior intervention.
